Arbas: Journal of Educational Innovation is a peer-reviewed journal published by Arabasta Media Publisher. This publication ethics statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher. These ethical principles are developed based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of scholarly articles in Arbas: Journal of Educational Innovation contributes significantly to the advancement of educational research and innovation. Published articles represent the quality of the authors' academic work and the institutions supporting the research. Peer-reviewed publications are fundamental to the development of reliable scientific knowledge and evidence-based educational practices.

Arabasta Media Publisher is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly publication process. Editorial decisions are made independently based solely on the academic quality, originality, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Commercial interests, sponsorship, advertising, or any financial considerations shall not influence editorial decisions.

The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, confidentiality, academic integrity, and ethical publication practices throughout the editorial and publication process.

Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions

The Editor-in-Chief has full responsibility for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published based on the recommendations of peer reviewers and editorial board members. Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's originality, scientific contribution, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the scope of the journal.

Editors shall comply with applicable legal requirements concerning copyright, plagiarism, defamation, and intellectual property rights.

Fairness

Editors evaluate manuscripts solely based on their academic merit without discrimination regarding race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, institutional affiliation, political beliefs, or personal characteristics of the authors.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts. Information regarding submitted manuscripts shall only be disclosed to the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisers, and the publisher when necessary.

Conflict of Interest

Editors shall not use unpublished information disclosed in submitted manuscripts for their own research without the explicit written consent of the authors. Editors must withdraw from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and provide constructive feedback that helps authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.

Promptness

Reviewers who are unable to complete the review within the specified timeframe or who lack the appropriate expertise should immediately inform the editor and decline the review invitation.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose or discuss the manuscript with others except when authorized by the editor.

Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively, fairly, and professionally. Criticism should focus on the scientific content rather than the personal characteristics of the authors. Reviewers should provide clear, constructive, and evidence-based comments.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors. They should also inform the editor of any substantial similarity, overlap, duplicate publication, or potential plagiarism.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, financial, institutional, or personal relationships with the authors or affiliated organizations.

Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards

Authors should present an accurate, objective, and transparent account of the research conducted. Sufficient methodological detail should be provided to allow replication of the study. Fabrication, falsification, or intentional misrepresentation of research findings constitutes unethical behavior.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are entirely original. Any ideas, data, figures, tables, or words taken from other works must be appropriately cited. All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

Data Availability

Authors should retain research data and provide access to supporting data when requested by the editor or reviewers, provided that doing so does not violate ethical or legal restrictions.

Multiple or Concurrent Submission

Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal or publish substantially similar research in multiple journals without proper disclosure.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Authors should appropriately acknowledge the contributions of previous research by citing relevant and authoritative literature that supports the study.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, implementation, analysis, or interpretation of the study. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript prior to submission.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all eligible co-authors are included and that no inappropriate authorship is assigned.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could potentially influence the interpretation of their research findings.

Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, educational interventions, interviews, surveys, or observations should comply with applicable ethical standards. Authors should confirm that informed consent has been obtained where appropriate and that participant confidentiality has been protected.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works

When authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they have an ethical obligation to promptly notify the editor and cooperate in issuing corrections, retractions, or other appropriate actions.

Duties of the Publisher
