T The Difficulties Faced by Students in Class 7C at SMPN 2 Solokanjeruk, Bandung, in Memorizing the Surahs of the Quran in Juz Amma
Abstract
This study aims to identify and overcome the difficulties faced by 7C grade students of SMPN 2 Solokanjeruk Bandung in memorizing Al-Qur'an chapters in Juz Amma. Through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in three cycles, the study explores factors such as unvaried teaching methods, lack of student motivation, and less conducive learning environments. The results indicate that the integration of diverse methods—including repetition, audio media, visualization, and memorization cards—significantly improved students' memorization accuracy and quantity. Furthermore, increased internal motivation and parental involvement proved to be critical success factors in the learning process.
