Learning Environment and Student Cognitive Learning Outcomes
Abstract
Writing this article to find out the relationship between the learning environment and cognitive learning outcomes of students in PAI subjects. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, document studies, interviews, and observations. Data analysis was carried out using a logical approach for qualitative data and a statistical approach for quantitative data by using indicator partial analysis and correlation analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, obtained results that students' responses to the learning environment are in the high category, with an average final score of 3.77. Cognitive learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education are in a good category with an average score of 79.31. The relationship between students' responses to the learning environment and students' cognitive learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education based on calculations, and analysis of the correlation coefficient of 0.27 is in the sufficient category. The results of the hypothesis test showed that Tcount is 8.531 which is greater than Ttable 2.052. Then got concluded that the learning environment affects learning outcomes by 48%, and another 52% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
