Imitating the Exemplary Story of the Apostles and the Ummah
Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of visual media in improving students' understanding in learning Qur'an reading and writing (BTQ). The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Taggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 27 second-grade students of SDN Munggu. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that the use of visual media significantly improved students' learning outcomes. The average score increased from 63.66 with a mastery level of 23.33% in the initial condition to 81.83 with a mastery level of 83.33% in the second cycle. Therefore, visual media proved to be effective in enhancing students' understanding, motivation, and engagement in BTQ learning.
